GATE 2026: NIT Warangal Opens Free Coaching for BTech Students

The National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal) SC/ST cell has recently opened applications for its Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) coaching programme. The free coaching session for this program starts from 17 November 2025 and continues till 9 January 2026. As per the announcement, the program will follow a structured schedule, with classes scheduled to be held in the evening from 5 PM to 9 PM on Saturdays. Interested candidates can download the application form from the official website of NIT Warangal. 

NIT Warangal GATE Coaching Eligibility Criteria

According to the notification issued by the SC-ST cell of NIT Warangal, students must meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the coaching session.

• Candidates should be in their 3rd year (3/4) or 4th year (4/4) of a BTech program in any engineering branch to qualify. 

• Students from all categories, including General, OBC, SC, and ST, are eligible to apply. 

• Both those who have applied for GATE and Non-GATE can submit their applications for the coaching session.

How to Apply for NIT Warangal Free GATE Coaching?

The coaching program is open for students who are pursuing in BTech in any branch from the NIT Warangal and any nearby engineering institutes. The steps to apply for the free GATE coaching class if as follows:

Step 1: Interested candidates need to visit to NIT Warangal website nitw.ac.in.

Step 2: On the home page, scroll down to the Notice section and click on “GATE COACHING CLASSES UNDER SC-ST CELL”.

Step 3: The application form opens. Read all the instructions mentioned on it.

Step 4: Download the application from and fill out all the sections carefully.

Step 5: Attach all the required documents to the application form.

Step 6: When all is completed, submit the application form to NIT Warangal before the start of the coaching session.

Document Required for NIT Warangal GATE Coaching

Before filling out the application form for GATE coaching, aspirants must be ready with all the essential documents required. Here is the list of documents:

• Secondary school certificate

• Cast certificate (if applicable)

• Aadhar card or college ID card as identification

• GATE 2025 application form

• One passport-size photograph.

Rules and Regulations for NIT Warangal GATE Coaching

Classes will be held on the NIT Warangal campus with strict regulations. Attendance is compulsory, and missing four classes in a row can lead to cancellation of admission. Students maintaining 90% or higher attendance will be rewarded at the end of the program. Weekly exams will be conducted regularly, and top performers will be acknowledged by their department. 

The program enforces discipline with strict campus conduct rules and prohibits mobile phone usage during classes. Students must carry their ID cards for entry to the college and classrooms, and all standard NIT campus regulations apply throughout the coaching period.
