Delhi University UG Admissions 2025-26: CSAS Round 3 of Seat Allocation Announced

The University of Delhi has announced the CSAS Round 3 seat allotment for UG admissions for the academic year 2025-26. The DU CSAS round 3 gives another chance to many students who either did not get a seat in the earlier rounds or wish to upgrade to a better course or college based on their merit and preferences. The seat allotment in this round is based on the candidate's minimum marks and ranks required as of 5:00 PM on 10 August 2025.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 1 or Round 2 can apply to upgrade their seats or reorder their preferences during a special window that starts on 2 August 2025, at 5 PM and closes on 3 August 2025, at 4:59 PM. The results of these upgraded seat allocations will be declared today, on 5 August 2025, at 5 PM. After this, the colleges will verify and approve the applications from 5 August evening to 6 August evening. Students who get upgraded seats must pay any differential fees by 7 August 2025, 4:59 PM to confirm admission. From 8 August 2025, at 5 PM, the university will display vacant seats available after the upgrade process. This will be followed by a mid-entry application window open from 8 August evening to 10 August evening. Using this application window, candidates who missed earlier rounds can apply for the remaining seats by paying a non-refundable fee. 

The final third round seat allocation, including special category seats like Music, BFA, Sports, CW, ECA, and Ward Quota, will be announced on 13 August 2025, at 5 PM.

Once this allocation is released, candidates are required to accept their seats between 13 August and 17 August to confirm their admission. Colleges will carry out the verification process by 18 August, and the last date for payment of admission fees is 19 August 2025, at 4:59 PM.

Step 1: Simply, visit the official Delhi University UG admission website at admission.uod.ac.in.
Step 2: Use your registered credentials from earlier rounds if you have already applied. New candidates can register during the Mid-Entry window.
Step 3: If the candidate was allotted a seat in CSAS Round 1 or 2,  they were required to log in between 2 August 2025, 5 PM and 3 August 2025, 4:59 PM to apply for seat upgradation or reorder their course and college preferences.
Step 4: Candidates who missed earlier rounds can apply fresh from 8 August 2025, 5 PM to 10 August 2025, 4:59 PM by paying the mid-entry fee online and filling in desired preferences.

Step 5: Now, check the upgraded seat allotment list and the third round allocation.
Step 6: Accept your allocated seat online before the deadline to confirm your admission.
Step 7: Then, complete your document verification by uploading and verifying all required documents online as part of college verification by 18 August. Candidates also need to make the admission fee payment online by the last date on 19 August 2025.

If some seats remain empty after the third round, DU may hold spot admission rounds. These help fill leftover seats and give one last chance to applicants who haven't been admitted yet.
