CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination provisional answer key has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Along with the answer key, the question papers and the recorded responses of candidates have also been made available on the official website csirnet.nta.nic.in.
Candidates who appeared for the exam held on December 18, 2025 can log in to their account using their application number and date of birth to check the provisional answers and their response sheets.
As per the official notification, the candidates who find any discrepancy in the answer key can raise objections online till January 1, 2026 up to 11:00 pm. A non-refundable processing fee must be paid online for each of the questions challenged. Every objection must be supported with relevant academic proof or proper justification by the candidates. The Challenges that are submitted without valid documents may not be accepted by the authority.
According to NTA 2,12,552 candidates appeared for the CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination conducted across the country. Once the results are declared, the candidates will be able to download their scorecards and CSIR will also release the cut-off marks and eligibility details for Junior Research Fellowship JRF and Assistant Professor positions.
How to Raise Objections against CSIR UGC NET Answer Key
Step 1: Firstly, visit the official website: https://csirnet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Then, click on the link provided for the “Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key”.
Step 3: Candidates shall log in using their application number, password, and the captcha code, then click on the submit
Step 4: Then, click on “View Question Paper” to see your marked/recorded responses and to view or challenge the answer key by clicking on “Click to view/Challenge Answer Key”.
Step 5: If you wish to challenge the answer, select one or more Option IDs provided in the next columns by clicking the checkbox.
Step 6: Upload supporting documents by clicking on “Choose File”. All documents must be uploaded in a single PDF file.
Step 7: After selecting your options, scroll down and click on “Submit and Review Claims” to move to the next screen. A page will appear showing all the Option IDs you have challenged.
Step 8: Click on “Modify your Claims” if you want to make changes or click on “Final Submit” to proceed. After saving the claims, a screen displaying your challenges will appear.
Step 9: Candidates shall pay the fee by clicking on “Pay Now”. Your claims will be finally saved only after successful payment. The challenge fee is INR 200 per question, payable through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
Note: The questions in the answer key are not arranged in sequential order. Candidates are advised to refer to the Question Paper and match the corresponding Question IDs shown in the answer key. You will be able to see the Question ID in sequential order. The ID shown next to the question under the column “Correct Option(s)” represents the correct answer key for that question. What’s After the CSIR UGC NET Objection Window Closes?
After the objection window closes, CSIR will carefully review all challenges received from candidates. If any answer is found incorrect, all the necessary changes will be made before releasing the final CSIR UGC NET answer key. CSIR UGC NET December 2025 result will be prepared strictly based on this final answer key and no further objections by the candidates will be allowed after that stage.
