CMAT 2026 Registration Start Soon: Know More about Registration Process, CMAT Exam, Total Marks, Exam Duration

The CMAT 2026 registration will start from the 2nd week of November 2025 and will continue till the end of December 2025. The CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) is conducted by the NTA for admission to MBA and PGDM programs. It is a national-level entrance exam whose score is accepted in many top colleges and universities, such as KIIT School of Management, BIMTECH, JBIMS, Amity University, etc.

Candidates who are looking to take admission postgraduate management course for the upcoming academic session 2026 can register for the CMAT exam. The CMAT exam is a completely computer-based exam containing 100 questions with a total of 400 marks. It is a 3-hour online exam. The CMAT 2026 exam is likely to be held in January 2026. 

CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

Since the CMAT is conducted to take admission in postgraduate MBA or PGDM programs, a candidate must complete their bachelor's degree. Here are some other eligibility criteria to attain the CMAT exam. 

• Candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognized university.

• Final year bachelor's degree candidates can also be eligible to apply for the CMAT exam.

• No age limit is set for the CMAT exam.

CMAT 2026 Registration and Application Process

CMAT registration only proceeds through an online window. The registration form will be available on the CMAT-NTA website. Here is the complete process of how a candidate can register for the CMAT 2026 exam.

Step 1: Candidates have to visit at CMAT website exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/.

Step 2: Click on the CMAT 2026 registration link.

Step 3: Choose the ‘new registration’ option.

Step 4: Enter the personal details and create a user ID and password.

Step 5: Log in to the portal using your ID and password shared in your email/phone number.

Step 6: Upload the document (government ID).

Step 7: Complete the CMAT form with the required details.

Step 8: Select the exam center as per your preferences.

Step 9: Upload the photo ID and signature.

Step 10: Finally, pay the registration fee via debit/credit card or net banking.
