The CMAT 2026 registration has started on 17 October 2025 and continues till 17 November 2025. Students are advised to fill out the application form early to avoid any delay. While the forms will be accepted till 17 November but students can pay the application fee till 18 November 2025. After submitting the application form, candidates can also make changes from 20 to 21 November 2025. The CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) is conducted by the NTA for admission to MBA and PGDM programs. It is a national-level entrance exam whose score is accepted in many top colleges and universities, such as KIIT School of Management, BIMTECH, JBIMS, Amity University, etc.
Candidates who are looking to take admission postgraduate management course for the upcoming academic session 2026 can register for the CMAT exam. The CMAT exam is a completely computer-based exam containing 100 questions with a total of 400 marks. It is a 3-hour online exam. The CMAT 2026 exam is likely to be held in January 2026.
CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2026
Since the CMAT is conducted to take admission in postgraduate MBA or PGDM programs, a candidate must complete their bachelor's degree. Here are some other eligibility criteria to attain the CMAT exam.
Candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognized university.
Final year bachelor's degree candidates can also be eligible to apply for the CMAT exam.
No age limit is set for the CMAT exam.
CMAT 2026 Registration and Application Process
CMAT registration only proceeds through an online window. The registration form will be available on the CMAT-NTA website. Here is the complete process of how a candidate can register for the CMAT 2026 exam.
Step 2:Click on the Registration for CMAT 2026 link in the blue box.
Step 3: Click on the CMAT 2026 Registration, and you will be asked to give permission to go to the redirected page.
Step 4: Choose the ‘new registration’ option and enter the personal details and create a user ID and password.
Step 5: Log in to the portal using your ID and password shared in your email/phone number.
Step 6: Upload all the original documents.
Step 7: Complete the CMAT form with the required details.
Step 8: Select the exam center as per your preferences.
Step 9: Upload the photo ID and signature.
Step 10: Finally, pay the registration fee via debit/credit card or net banking.
