

Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies (GNIMS) is a private business school located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Established in 2002, GNIMS is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated with the University of Mumbai. Admissions are open for many management courses at the institute, giving students a chance to enhance their careers in management and business studies. However, PhD admissions are currently closed. To apply, students must have completed a bachelor’s degree and meet the required eligibility criteria. The application process is simple, and for the PGCM (EMBA) course, the application fee is INR 2,000.
The total fee for PGCM courses which includes EMBA, EMBA-FM, and EMBA-IT is INR 1,50,000. The PGDM course fee ranges between INR 1.15 lakh and 7 lakh. Applicants interested in management courses must meet certain basic requirements which are given below.
PGDM - Students are chosen based on their entrance exam score, past studies, work experience, and how well they do in group discussions and interviews. They can apply using scores from one of these entrance exams, such as CMAT, MH-CET, CAT, MAT, ATMA, XAT, or JMET.
PGDM BFSI - Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in Class 10, 12, and graduation or post-graduation. Applicants also need a 50th percentile in any of these CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, MH-CET, or NMAT exams. If not, they can take the TAP test and must score at least 50%.
PGCM (EMBA) - To pursue PGCM (EMBA), students should be graduates with at least 50% marks and have at least 2 years of work experience. The course is assessed with 40% from internal tests and 60% from the final exam.
PGCM (EMBA-FM) - PGCM (EMBA-FM) is open for students who have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or a 3-year diploma after 10+2 recognised by AICTE. Those studying professional courses like CA, CS, or ICWA can join this program alongside their studies and enter directly.
PGCM (EMBA-IT) - PGCM (EMBA-IT) is available to students who have graduated from a UGC-approved university.
MMS - For MMS, the student must have a 3-year graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50% mark (45% for reserved categories in Maharashtra). Provisional admission is also available for final year students; however, they must have passed the degree with the required marks. A Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET) is also required when one is applying to be admitted. For 15% All India Quota seats, students can use CAT, JMET, MAT, XAT, ATMA or CMAT scores.
MCA – To pursue MCA, the candidate must have completed a 3-year bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% (45% in Maharashtra) marks and must have passed the MAH-MCA-CET exam conducted by DTE.
