XAT Exam 2026: Registration Deadline Extended till 11 Dec, Apply Now

The Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur, has announced an extension for the online registration deadline for XAT 2026. As per an official update, the registration period has now been extended until December 11, 2025, at 11:59 pm. Aspirants who have not yet applied can still complete their online application on the official website. The revised registration date helps new applicants to complete their registration.

The XAT 2026 registration started on July 10, 2025. Candidates must complete their application by filling out the registration form online before the end date. While filling out, they have to upload a recent photo, signature, and valid ID proof, choose their preferred test cities, and pay the exam fee before the registration end date. The exam is scheduled for 4 January 2026.

The eligibility criteria to apply for the XAT exam 2026 require a bachelor’s degree of at least three years from a recognised university. Students in their final year of an undergraduate course are also eligible to register for it. The application process involves filling out the online form, uploading necessary documents, including a recent photograph and signature, and paying the INR 2,200 application fee.

Step 1: Visit the official XAT website at xatonline.in and click on the Register button.

Step 2: Provide your name, email ID, mobile number, and select other information to create a password.

Step 3: A verification email will be sent to the given email ID.

Step 4: Click on the verification link in the email and proceed to the application form.

Step 5: Before submitting the registration form, carefully review your application, and if required, make the necessary changes.

Step 6: Enter your academic and work experience details.Step 7: Select the programme(s) you want to apply for.

Step 8: Choose six preferred test cities for the exam.

Step 9: Upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature in the appropriate format.

XAT 2026 Overview 

The XAT 2026 exam, organised by Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur, is set to take place on January 4, 2026. The exam will be computer-based and last for three hours, running from 2 pm to 5 pm. The admit card is anticipated to be released by December 20. The exam test includes four sections: Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. Candidates will face a total of 95 multiple-choice questions.
