The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST 2026) has officially announced an extension for registration for the examination till 8th of April 2026. It is carried out for admission to the five-year integrated MSc. The candidates who are eligible for the test are required to visit the official website nestexam.in. to register themselves for the examination.
According to the official notice, the entrance examination for the admission process will be conducted on the 6th of June 2026 from 2 PM to 5 PM. The examination will be conducted across 140 centres in India. The last date to pay the application fees is the 12th of April 2026, till 11:30 PM. Through the NEST 2026 entrance examination, the students can get admission to five-year integrated MSc programs in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics in the top indian institutes like the National Institute of Science Education and Research and the University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences.
NEST 2026, Eligibility Criteria
All the candidates who are willing to appear in the NEST 2026 Examination are required to pay the application fees of INR 1,400 for the male candidates belonging to the unreserved, OBC category, while the application fees for the female candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, and unreserved EWS categories are INR 700.
The candidates who have cleared class 12th with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks with 5% relaxation for the candidates belonging to the reserved category are eligible to apply fo the NEST entrance examination 2026.

The candidates who are willing to secure their seats in the five-year integrated MSc program are supposed to appear in the NEST 2026 examination.
