WBCHSE Result 2026 Released: Here’s How to Download Marksheet

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has made an announcement regarding the release of the West Bengal HS Class 12 Result 2026 on May 14, 2026. This information has been released by the WBCHSE in a press meet which took place at 10:30 AM, followed by the activation of the online result website at 11 AM.

This year the overall pass percentage stands at 91.23%. Among male students, the pass percentage is 89.79%, whereas female students recorded a higher pass percentage of 92.47%.

Along with the results, the WB HS Toppers List 2026 overall pass percentage and other important statistics will also be released. This year, around 7.1 lakh students registered for the examination. The WBCHSE HS Exam 2026 was held from February 12 to February 27, 2026.

Steps to Check WB HS Result 2026 Online

Students can also access their results directly from the official WBCHSE website by following these steps:

Step 1: Go to the official website at wbchse.wb.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the “WB HS Result 2026” link available on the homepage

Step 3: Enter the required login credentials, including roll number

Step 4: Click on the submit button

Step 5: The West Bengal Class 12 Result 2026 will appear on the screen

Step 6: Download and save the provisional marksheet for future use

How to Download WB HS Result 2026 via DigiLocker

Students can obtain their digital marksheets through DigiLocker using the following steps:

1. Open the DigiLocker website or mobile app

2. Log in using the registered mobile number

3. New users must complete registration with an Aadhaar-linked mobile number

4. Navigate to the “Issued Documents” section

5. Select education or board-related certificates

6. Choose “West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education” from the list

7. Enter details such as roll number and examination year

8. Submit the information to access the marksheet

9. Download and save the digital copy for future use

WB HS Result 2026: Passing Marks

As per WBCHSE guidelines, students must secure at least 30% marks in each subject to pass the Higher Secondary examination.

The final result is prepared by combining theory, practical and project marks. Students are also required to obtain the minimum qualifying marks separately in both theory and practical to successfully clear the examination.
