The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is set to release the Madhyamik Class 10 Result 2026 on May 8. After the declaration, students will be able to check their scorecards on the official websites. The results will also be available through DigiLocker, so students can check there as well.
The Madhyamik examinations were conducted from February 2 to February 12, 2026. Exams were held in a single shift from 10:45 AM to 2:00 PM and students were given the first 15 minutes to read the question paper.
This year, nearly 9.71 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 board exams. The exams were organised across 2,682 schools, including 945 main examination centres and 1,737 sub-centres.
The students who are not satisfied with their marks will be able to apply for scrutiny or review after the results are announced.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will declare the Madhyamik Class 10 Result 2026 on May 8. The results will be announced at 9:30 AM through a press conference. Students can download their West Bengal Madhyamik scorecards from 10:30 AM onwards.

WB Madhyamik 2026: Result Past Year Trends
In 2025, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education announced the Madhyamik Class 10 results on May 2. The exams were held from February 10 to February 22, 2025. Around 9.84 lakh students appeared for the exam across 2,683 centres, and the overall pass percentage was 86.56%. Adrit Sarkar secured the top position with 99.43%.
In 2024, the results were also declared on May 2. A total of 9.12 lakh students appeared for the exam, out of which 7.65 lakh students passed. The overall pass percentage stood at 83.61%.
The WBBSE Class 10 results were released on May 19 for the year 2023 and on June 3 in 2022.
