Directorate of Government Examinations Tamil Nadu has announced the TN 12th Result 2026 today on May 8, at 9:30 AM. This year, the overall pass percentage is 95.20%. Students can now check their Tamil Nadu Class 12 results online by visiting the official websites. The result is also available on DigiLocker and the SMS service. Students need to enter their registration number and date of birth to download their marksheet.
TNDGE conducted the TN 12th public exams 2026 from March 2 to March 26. According to the reports, over 8 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 board exams this year. The online marksheet will include details such as the studentās name, registration number, parentsā names, photo, school name, subject-wise marks, total marks and result status. All the students are advised to check all the details carefully after downloading the provisional marksheet.

TN Result 2026: How to Download the Result?
Those students who have appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 12th Public examinations can download their marksheet by following the steps given below.
Step 1: Visit the official websites at tnresults.nic.in or candidates can also visit dge.tn.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the āHSC (+2) Result 2026ā link available on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your registration number and date of birth.
Step 4: Submit the details by clicking on the āGet Marksā option to view the result.
Step 5: Download and save the provisional marksheet for future reference.
Students should note that the online scorecard is temporary or provisional. The original marksheet will be provided later by their respective schools.
TN 12th Result 2026: Overall Pass Percentage
In the TN HSE +2 Result 2026, girls performed better than boys in the overall pass percentage. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 97%. However, boys has ecured 93.19%. The overall pass percentage this year stands at 95.20%.
TN 12th Result 2026: Supplementary Exam Details
As per the official details, Students must score at least 35 marks out of 100 in each subject to pass the exam. For subjects with practical exams, candidates need to pass both theory and practical papers separately. Those students who could not clear one or more subjects will get another chance to appear in the supplementary examinations conducted by the Directorate of Government Examinations Tamil Nadu. The schedule for the supplementary exams will be released soon by the conducting authorities.
