UGC NET Answer Key 2026 Latest Updates; NTA Likely to Release Response Sheets Shortly

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the UGC NET 2026 answer key soon on its official website. Along with the answer key, response sheets and question papers will also be available to the candidates. However, the NTA officials have not announced any official UGC NET 2026 answer key release date yet, but as per past trends, the answer key is expected to be released one or two weeks after the completion of the examination process.
The UGC NET June 2026 exam was held from 22 June to 30 June. The exam was conducted in computer based (CBT) mode and in two shifts from 9 AM to 12 Noon and an evening session from 3 PM to 6 PM. Candidates will be able to match their recorded responses and get an estimate of their probable scores once the provisional answer is available. In case any student finds an incorrect answer in the answer key, they can challenge it by paying the prescribed objection fee within the specified deadline.

Candidates can follow these simple steps once the provisional answer key is released.
Step 2: Click on the UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key link available on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your application number, password/date of birth and the security code to log in.
Step 4: The provisional answer key, response sheet and question paper will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download and keep a copy for future reference.
UGC NET Result 2026 Update
UGC NET June 2026 result will be declared after NTA reviews all the objections raised against the provisional answer key. The final answer key will also be released along with the result. Candidates will be able to check and download their scorecards from the official website using their application number and date of birth.
