UGC NET 2025 Admit Card Out: NTA Released the Hall Tickets for the Remaining Exam Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for all the University Grants Commission (UGC)-National Eligibility Test (NET) Entrance exams. UGC NET is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) which is scheduled to be conducted between 2nd January 2026 and 7th January 2026 for 85 subjects at the different examination centres across the country. Candidates who are going to appear for the UGC-NET Entrance exam can download the admit card from the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and along with that, to avoid any last mistakes, can check the steps for downloading the admit card from below. 

How to Download the Admit Card for UGC-NET Entrance Exam

The UGC-NET entrance exam will be conducted in multiple shifts depending on the subject and date of the exam. Candidates can check the date and time of their exam from the UGC NET admit card and the steps for downloading the admit card for the UGC-NET Entrance exam are as follows: 

Step 1: Check the official website, which is https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/.  

Step 2: In the Candidate Activity Section, Click on the link of “Admit Card for UGC-NET December 2025”.

Step 3: Enter the Application Number, Password, and Security Pin and click on submit.

Step 4: Now, the admit card will appear on the candidate’s laptop screen. 

Step 5: Download the admit card for future reference. 

UGC-NET 2025 Examination Guidelines

Candidates appearing for the University Grants Commission (UGC)-National Eligibility Test (NET) Entrance exam must follow all the guidelines released by NTA. The guidelines for the UGC-NET Examination are listed below. 

  • Candidates must reach the exam centre 2 hours before the examination to complete registration and no entry will be allowed 30 minutes before the exam.

  • Candidates should enter the examination hall at the time mentioned on the admit card.

  • Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination centre.

  • Without a valid admit card, Candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam.

  • Candidate must sit only in their allotted seat according to the roll number. 

  • Candidates should check that the subject on the admit card and the computer are the same. 

Candidates who are facing problems in downloading the admit card must contact the officials of NTA before the examination date.
