The release of the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2026 hall tickets has created a lot of excitement and preparation among aspiring teachers in the state. The candidates who applied to the January 2026 session can now obtain their admit cards through the official portal with their login details. 

The Government of Telangana, Department of School Education, has declared that the TS TET 2026 exam will be conducted in an online Computer-Based Test (CBT) format from January 3, 2026, to January 31, 2026, in various shifts and subjects.

TS TET 2026: Downloading Your Hall Ticket

In order to download the TS TET 2026 hall ticket:

Step 1: Go to the TS TET official site: tgtet.aptonline.in/tgtet

Step 2: Click on the Hall Ticket Download.

Step 3: Then enter your Journal/Registration Number and Date of Birth.

Step 4: Review and check, and print copies for future use.

The admit card is an essential document that the candidates are required to bring a printed copy of the admit card together with a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, Driving Licence, etc.) to the examination centre. 

TS TET 2026 Exam Overview

The TS TET exam is an important qualification examination of candidates who wish to be teachers in Classes 1 to 5 (Paper I) and Classes 6 to 8 (Paper II) in government and aided schools in Telangana. The papers will have 150 objective-type questions that will be answered within 2 hours and 30 minutes

The test is conducted in two shifts a day:

  • Morning: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM

  • Afternoon: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM
