The NTA has released the UGC NET 2025 admit card for the exam scheduled on 31st December 2025. The UGC NET December exam shall be held from December 31 to January 7, 2026. Admit cards for the rest of the dates will be out soon. Candidates who have registered successfully can download their admit card from the official website by entering their Application Number and Date of Birth.
NTA has also released the UGC NET December City Intimation Slip 2025 to let candidates know about their exam city well in advance, which will help candidates in making travel plans. Candidates can find their Roll Number, date, and time of examination, and the centre of the examination on the admit card. Candidates are advised to keep the UGC NET Admit Card at the time of examination, as it is a mandatory document at the time of entering the examination hall. Entries are prohibited with the hall ticket. Also, candidates should check the hall ticket carefully and make sure all the details are correct and accurate; any discrepancy may cause cancellation of candidacy.
How to Download UGC NET Admit Card 2025

Step 1: Go to the official website of UGC NET https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/

Step 2: On the home page, you will find the ‘Admit Card for UGC-NET December 2025 scheduled to be held on 31st Dec 2025 is LIVE!’ link. Click on it to go to the download page

Step 3: A new window will open on your screen where you need to click on the ‘Admit Card for UGC-NET December 2025 (scheduled to be held on 31st Dec 2025)’ link to open the login page.

Step 4: You will then be taken to the Login Page. Type in your Application Number and Password or Date of Birth, which you used during filling up of application form.

Step 5: After the admit card is displayed in front of you, take a printout of it for further use.
Important documents to carry on the Exam date of UGC NET
The admit card is the most important document for the UGC NET exam. Candidates must carry:
The UGC NET Admit Card in a hard copy
A valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)
Two passport-sized photos, identical to the ones you uploaded on the application
