The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET December 2025 exam online (computer-based) at various centres across India. The exam will take place over multiple days, starting from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, presenting an important opportunity for lakhs of candidates aiming for eligibility as Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellows (JRF).

The UGC NET December 2025 admit card has not been uploaded on the official portal. However, based on past exam experiences, candidates can expect to receive their admit cards by approximately December 28, 2025, which is about 2–3 days before the first exam. As soon as it is made available, candidates will have to log in with their application number, password/date of birth on the official website to access their admit card for download.  It is highly recommended that students download their admit card early enough so that they do not experience any technical hitches at the last minute, because there is no entry into the examination hall without a printed copy.
