On December 18, 2025, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) formally announced the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025. On the official website, candidates who took the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 exam can now view and download their results.
The list of candidates shortlisted for the Tier 2 exam and the category-wise cut-off marks have also been released by SSC along with the results. The goal of this hiring campaign is to fill 14,582 Group B and Group C positions in different government agencies.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Overview
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was administered at several locations throughout the nation from September 12 to September 26, 2025. Some candidates had to retake the exam on October 14, 2025, due to technical difficulties. The Tier 1 exam is one of the biggest competitive exams in India, with almost 28 lakh candidates taking it this year.

A total of 1,39,395 candidates have qualified for the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam. The result has been released in three separate PDF lists, based on post categories:
List 1 (Junior Statistical Officer - JSO): 6,196 candidates qualified
List 2 (Statistical Investigator Grade II): 2,781 candidates qualified
List 3 (Other SSC CGL Posts): 1,30,418 candidates qualified
The results of 49 candidates have been withheld, while five candidates’ results were not processed due to debarment.

Step 5: Once the PDF has been downloaded, search for your name or roll number using Ctrl + F.
SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam and Further Selection Process
After passing Tier 1, candidates will now take the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam, which is scheduled for February 2026. Following the Tier 2 exam, candidates' documents will be verified by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), which will then assign positions based on candidates' preferences and merit.
