Results of the UPSC CSE Prelims Exam 2025 To Be Declared Soon: Check Details Here

The Union Public Civil Service (UPSC) is expected to declare the results of the Civil Services Preliminary Examination (CSE Prelims) on 14th June 2025. There is no official announcement of the date by UPSC, but based on the past trends, the results are expected to be released two weeks after the exam. 

The UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 was conducted on 25 May 2025, in two sessions across different centres all across the country and this is the first stage of the Civil Services Examination (CSE). The CSE 2025 exam is held for the recruitment of candidates for prestigious central government positions like IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, and other central services. The other two stages of the exam are the mains and the interview round. This year, more than 13 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.

Steps to view the UPSC CSE 2025 Result

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Union Public Services Commission, upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Find the UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 link and click on it.

Step 3: Download the PDF of all the selected candidates.

Step 4: Use Ctrl F and enter the roll number in the dialogue box that opens.

Step 5: View your result.

What happens after the declaration of the prelims result?

After the declaration of the preliminary result, candidates will move forward to the next level of the exam, which is the mains. The UPSC will open a separate window for the registration of the mains exam, and candidates will have to register themselves on it. After qualifying it the candidates will be further called for the final interview round, after which the final merit list will be prepared and its result will be declared in February 2026.
