The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) has started accepting applications for the National Law School Admission Test (NLSAT) 2026. Candidates who are interested or willing to get admission or pursue one of the esteemed courses can apply for their desired courses through the official website of NLSIU.

The registration is open for the following courses: 3 years LL.B. (Hons)NLS B.A. (Hons)2 years Master’s Program in Public PolicyPh.D. Law/Ph.D. (Social SciencesHumanities, and Public Policy). Students can go and check for the detailed information about the courses available on the NLSIU’s website.

NLSAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

  • The 3-year LLB (Hons) course demands that applicants in the General Category should have graduated with an aggregate of not less than 45% of total marks. For ST/SC/OBC/PwD, there’s a relaxation of 5% in marks.
  • NLS BA (Hons.) programme eligibility criteria for applicants in the general category are having graduated with an aggregate of not less than 55% of total marks, and Applicants in the SC/ST category have been given a relaxation of 10% in marks.
  • The 2-year MPP programme demands that applicants in the General Category should have graduated with an aggregate of not less than 45% marks (Gen.), 40% ( ST/SC/OBC/PwD).
  • For the PhD (Law ) and PhD (Social Sciences, Humanities and Public Policy) programme, candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 55% (Gen.), 50% (ST/SC/OBC/PwD) aggregate marks.
