The National Test Agency(NTA) released the National Institution of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam (NIFTEE) answer key on February 17, 2026, for the Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F. Tech), Master of Design(M.Des), Master of Fashion Technology(M.F.Tech), and Master of Fashion Management(MFM). Candidates who have taken the NIFT examination can easily download the National Institution of Fashion Technology (NIFT) 2026 provisional answer key from the official website of the NIFT.
For downloading the provisional Answer key, a candidate must fill out his/her Application ID and Password. However, the Answer Key is released only for the General Ability Test(GAT); no answer key has been released for the NIFT Common Admission Test (CAT).
How to Raise an Objection?
The National Test Agency(NTA) has also released the NIFT 2026 Question Paper and Response Sheet for the candidates. This allows all the candidates who are willing to raise an objection against the NIFT Provisional key and thus calculate their Actual Score in the NIFT Exams. All the candidates can challenge the answers given by NTA through the response sheet; however, for the process, a candidate has to pay a minimum fee of INR 200 per question. As the objection window will open currently and will last until February 19, 2026 till 11:50 pm.

Step 2: Click on the link “Download NIFT Answer Key 2026.”
Step 3: Now the candidate has to enter their Roll number, password, and Date of Birth in the required fields.
Step 4: Submit all the Details.
Step 5: The NIFT 2026 Provisional Answer Key will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Download the answer key PDF.
Step 7: Save and print the provisional answer key for future reference.
How to calculate the NIFT Score from the Provisional Answer key?
Candidates first have to download the Question paper and their response sheet (as mentioned above) by entering their personal information. However, candidates can calculate their marks as given below
Each question carries 1 mark.
For each correct question candidate will get 1 mark.
For each incorrect answer, there will be -0.25 marks deducted from the total score.
Those questions that will be unanswered or unattempted will be given no marks.
To answer a question, candidates have to choose only one correct answer.
After the answer key challenge process is completed, if any question has multiple correct answers or if there is a revision in the answer key, marks will be awarded only to those candidates who have selected the correct option according to the revised/final answer key.
