The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the last date for the registration of the National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination-2, 2026, and the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination-2, 2026. Interested candidates can now complete the registration by filling out the application forms from the official website of UPSC till 11th June 2026, up to 6:00 pm.
UPSC started the registration process for the NDA 2 and CDS 2 from 20th May 2026, and the last date to fill out the application was 9th June 2026 (earlier). Students who missed their registration dates have been given an extension facility so that they can get more time to complete their registration. Both exams will be conducted on September 13, 2026, in offline pen-and-paper mode. The NDA 2 exam will be held at 86 centres across the country, while the CDS 2 exam will be held at 84 centres.

Candidates interested in applying for the UPSC NDA 2 and CDS 2 2026 examinations can complete the registration process online through the official UPSC portal. Applicants must complete the registration before the extended deadline, and can also follow the steps given below.

NDA 2 & CDS 2 Registration Important Instructions
The authority has clarified that candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their applications after submitting them. Also, no corrections or modifications will be allowed in the application forms after submission. Apart from this, applicants need to meet the eligibility criteria, which are for CDS 2; applicants generally need a bachelor's degree from a recognised university, while some courses related to the Navy and Air Force require technical or engineering qualifications.
