The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the revised provisional seat allotment result for NEET UG 2026 Round 1 counselling on 21 August 2026. The revision was made after an error was found while uploading a PwD certificate by the Primary Assessment Centre.
A total of 29,945 MBBS and BDS seats have been allotted in the revised provisional result. MCC has also made it clear that the revised result is only provisional and may change. Candidates cannot claim the allotted seat as final at this stage. Students should wait for the final result before contacting or reporting to the allotted college or institute.
The first provisional result was released on 20 August 2026. Candidates who completed their choice filling and locking can now check the revised allotment PDF and their seat status on the official MCC counselling website. The final result is expected to be released today on 22 August 2026.
Candidates are advised to check their revised seat allotment carefully. If they find any mistake, they can raise it through the Candidates Grievances and Query Redressal System on the MCC candidate login portal.

Candidates who took part in Round 1 of NEET UG counselling for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing seats can check their allotment status online. The result applies to candidates seeking admission under the 15% All India Quota, AIIMS, JIPMER, Central Universities and Deemed Universities. Step 2: Go to the UG Medical Counselling section.
Step 3: Under the Current Events Section, click on the “Revised Provisional Result for UG Counselling Round 1” link.

When NEET Round 1 Final Results out, candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat can report to the respective college between August 22 and August 31. They have to bring the original documents, photographs and MCC allotment letter for verification.
The college will verify the documents before the completing or finalising the admission process. If eligible and as per MCC rules, candidates who want to apply for a better seat can participate in NEET UG Round 2 counselling.
