The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the online refund of fees for candidates who appeared in the NEET UG 2026 Re-exam. The candidates who got registered for NEET can now update their bank account details in the official NEET UG website for smooth refunding.
As per the official notification, the bank account details submission facility is online, and the candidates are required to fill out the same till June 30, 2026. The agency has urged students to double check all the information before submission as wrong or incomplete banking information could cause delays in issuing the refund.
Candidates have to log in with their Application Number and Password, and confirm their identity using the OTP sent to their registered mobile number and email address and complete the bank details.
Candidates with eligibility for refund need to go through the online process within the deadline.
How to Submit Bank Details for NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund
To access the NEET UG 2026 Re-exam fee refund window, candidates are advised to follow the procedure mentioned below to provide banking details.
- Go to the official website of NEET UG.
- Application Number & Password should be used for login.
- Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) that will be received on the registered mobile number and email address.
- Be careful while entering the details of your bank account.
- Verify all the information before submitting the form.
- The deadline to submit the details is 30 June 2026.
NTA has advised students to ensure that the details of the bank account given are accurate. In case there is a mismatch in the account details, there may be delays in getting the amount refunded. Also, in case students fail to submit the details before the deadline, then they will be delayed in receiving their refunds.
Provisional Answer Key Challenge Window Also Open
During the refund process, NTA has also released the NEET UG 2026 answer key for the NEET Re-examination 2026, which was held on 21st June, 2026. The provisional answer key, recorded response and question papers are available for the candidates who appeared in the re-exam at the official website.
The challenge facility for the answer key is open from 25th June to 28th June 2026 (till 11:50 PM). Any discrepancies in the provisional answer sheet can be raised by the candidates online with a non-refundable processing fee of INR 200 per question. Supporting documents or evidence must also be uploaded while submitting the challenge.
NTA has clarified that challenges that are not accompanied by the prescribed fee and supporting documents will not be taken into consideration. All valid objections will be considered by the subject experts and if any objection turns out to be right, the answer key will be modified. After considering the objections, the final answer key will be prepared and the same will be used for the declaration of the NEET UG 2026 re-examination result.
