NEET SS 2025: Exam Dates Rescheduled, Check the New Dates Now

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), which is the conducting authority of NEET, has officially rescheduled the NEET SS 2025 examination. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Specialty (NEET SS) will now be held on December 26 and 27, 2025, instead of the previously scheduled November 7 and 8. The rescheduling has been given the green light by the National Medical Commission (NMC) as well as the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).

Why the Exam Was Rescheduled
NBEMS gave a formal notice on its official website, natboard.edu.in, that the exam dates were changed to give candidates more time to prepare. It was a decision made after consultation with the NMC and MoHFW to ensure that the new schedule is consistent with the national academic planning.
The exam was initially going to be held on November 7 and 8, 2025, tentatively. Nevertheless, the board has decided that the final dates to be December 26 and 27, 2025, due to some administrative and logistical considerations.
What Is NEET SS?
NEET SS is a national-level entrance test, which is held for admission to DM, MCh, and DrNB super-specialty courses in India. The test is done through a computer, and it is compulsory for candidates who want to get admission in these advanced medical programs.
