NEET PG Registration Updates: Check Expected Exam Schedule and Steps Here

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will announce the registration dates for the National Eligibility cum Entrance exam for postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026 soon. Applicants who want to take admission in the postgraduate medical exams in the government universities across India can complete the registration once the board activates the link. 

The NEED PG entrance exam 2026 will be conducted on 30th August 2026 in 233 centers (tentative) across different cities in India. Students who have completed their MBBS degree and will complete their internship by September 30, 2026, are eligible to apply for the NEET PG 2026 exam. Candidates can complete the registration from the official website of NBEMS by providing their login credentials. 

However, as the exam date of NEET PG is 30th August 2026, the registration process might have started last week of May 2026, but due to the NEET UG paper leak allegations, the registration has not started yet. 

NEET PG 2026 Exam Schedule 

The NBEMS has not released the registration dates for the NEET PG entrance exam. Applicants who are appearing for the NEET PG can check the tentative exam schedule from the table below. 

NEET PG 2026: How to Complete Registration? 

Candidates are advised to check the steps given below to complete the registration process for the NEET PG 2026 entrance exam. 

Step 1: Visit the official NBE website and click on the "New Registration" option.

Step 2: Enter all the required details, such as your name, parents' names, address, ID proof details, mobile number, and email ID.

Step 3: After filling in all the required details, click "Save and Proceed".

Step 4: A unique Candidate ID will be generated and sent to the registered email ID and mobile number of the candidate.

Step 6: Log in using the Candidate ID and create a new password for the account created.

Step 7: Once the password is updated, candidates will be redirected to the NEET PG login page to continue with the application process.

NEET PG 2026 Documents Required for Registration

Candidates must keep these documents at the time of NEET PG Registration to avoid any kind of hassles. 

• Passport-size photograph

• Valid photo ID proof

• Internship Completion Certificate

• Print a copy of the signature 

• MBBS degree certificate/ Provisional pass certificate

• Category Certificate

• Left-hand thumb impression 

• Permanent or Provisional Registration Certificate

• PwD Certificate (if applicable)

NEET PG 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Before completing the registration process for the NEET PG 2026 entrance exam, candidates need to complete the eligibility requirements. The Eligibility Requirements for the NEET PG are as follows. 

• Aspirants must have an MBBS degree completed from a well-recognised educational institution. 

• Applicants must possess a permanent/ provisional registration certificate of an MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or the State Medical Council.

• They must have completed the duration of their internship on or before July 31, 2026.
