Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test 2025 Kicks Off Today. Candidates Can View The Exam Guidelines Here

The IMU CET 2025 is scheduled to start today, on 24th May 2025. The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and candidates have to report to the centre before the closing time 10:30 AM. 

The Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) 2025 is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission into various UG and PG maritime courses offered by IMU and its affiliated institutes. The application process for the exam started on 7th March 2025, and the last date to fill the application form after the extended period was 6th May 2025. The application fee to fill the form was in the range of INR 700 to INR 1000.

Step 2: Click on the link IMU CET 2025 Admit Card Download Link

Step 3: Enter the application number, date of birth and mobile number to log into the candidate portal.

Step 4: Download the admit card.

Step 5: Take a printout of the admit card

Exam Day Guidelines

• Reporting Time – Candidates should arrive at least 45 minutes before the scheduled start time of the examination.

• Documents to Carry – Candidates have to bring their IMU CET 2025 admit card, a valid photo ID (Aadhar, Passport, etc.), and two passport-size photographs.

• Dress Code – Candidates should wear comfortable and appropriate attire, and they should avoid carrying unnecessary accessories.

• Electronic Devices – Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and other electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the exam centre.

• Behaviour & Compliance – Candidates should follow all the instructions given by the invigilators and maintain discipline throughout the exam.

Expected Result Date

The IMU CET 2025 results are expected to be announced in the second week of June 2025 on the official website http://imu.edu.in. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can log in by entering their roll number, date of birth and password and check their scores, ranks, and merit list on the official website. The candidates who will qualify will be eligible to take admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in IMU. The counselling process will begin soon after the declaration of the result, and candidates can opt for their preferred courses.
