The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is going to organise a series of mentoring workshops with the title “Transformative Leadership in STEMM (TLS)” for 2025-2026 for SC/ST Ph.D students from 28 January 2026 to 30 January 2026. The Initiative of Caste Equity (ICE), Office of Diversity & Inclusion, and the SC/ST Cell of IIT Delhi are accepting applications for “Workshop for Advanced Ph.D. Scholars from SC/ST community”. Interested candidates can apply for the workshop program till its last date, 1 December 2025. The final list of selected candidates will be notified on 5 January 2026. The workshop is scheduled for three days from 28th to 30th January 2026.
Who Can Apply For The IIT Delhi Transformative Leadership Workshop
The program is conducted for the students from SC and ST communities who are currently studying in the second year or later in either IIT, NIT, or other higher educational institutions. Also, candidates who have completed their PhD or post-doctoral research program can also be eligible to apply.
The selection of candidates will be based on seniority, good academic performance, and the quality of the research paper. The female candidates are highly encouraged to apply. The selected candidates will be allowed to present their ongoing research, and they will receive feedback and mentoring from faculty, and enhance their presentation skills.

Motto of Conducting TLS Workshop
IIT management has said that the aim of conducting the TLS workshop program is to train PhD students in the key competency areas related to teaching, research, and leadership. It helps to perform them better in future teaching or research positions in higher education institutions. The workshop program boosts the confidence of these students. Also, there has been an additional special session on the preparation for job interviews, mock job interviews, networking, and tips to develop leadership skills.
This year, the IIT Delhi is accepting applications from various disciplines like Chemical Engineering, Textile & Fibre Engineering, Atmospheric Sciences, and Materials Science & Engineering streams.
