The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala, has put out the annual exam schedule for the 2025-26 academic year winter vacation schools. This timetable is for the students of classes 3, 5, and 8. An official notification has stated that the examination will be conducted from 9:45 am to 1:00 pm. Hence, the distribution of question papers and answer sheets will take place at 9:45 am to provide students with sufficient time to review the instructions and complete the particulars. The actual start of the examination will be at 10:00 am. Below is the class-wise HPBOSE Winter School Date Sheet 2025-26, as released by the Board.
Class 3rd HPBOSE Winter Date Sheet 2025-26
According to HPBOSE winter school, the timetable for Class 3 exams will start on 1st December 2025 with the Mathematics paper. The English exam will be held on December 3, followed by Environmental Studies (EVS) on December 4 and Hindi on December 5. All exams are scheduled to be held from 9:45 am to 1:00 pm.
Class 5th HPBOSE Winter Date Sheet 2025-26
Class 5th annual exams for the academic session 2025-26 will start on Monday, December 1, 2025, with the English paper. The Hindi exam will be conducted on Tuesday, December 2. After a one-day break, students will appear for the Mathematics exam on Thursday, December 4, and the exams will conclude with Environmental Studies (EVS) on Friday, December 5.
Class 8th HPBOSE Winter Date Sheet 2025-26
Class 8 examinations will be held over a period of eight days, starting in late November and ending in early December 2025. The exams will start with English on Thursday, November 27, followed by Hindi on November 28, and Social Science on November 29. After a Sunday break, students will take Mathematics on Monday, December 1 and Himachal Pradesh Lok Sanskriti and Yoga on Tuesday, December 2.
After another break, the Science exam will be conducted on Thursday, December 4, and the Sanskrit exam on Friday, December 5. The exams for practical subjects like Art, Home Science, Music, Agriculture, and Urdu will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, the day reserved for these.

How to Check HPBOSE Winter School Date Sheet
Step 1: Open the HPBOSE gateway - hpbose.org.
Step 2: Find the ‘Examination’ tab on the homepage. When you click it, a drop-down menu will come out.
Step 3: In the drop-down menu, you have to click the ‘Date Sheet’ option.
Step 4: Once you are on the date sheet page, go through the list of date sheets of the indicated classes and click the link for the Class 3, 5, and 8 timetable.
Step 5: The exam schedule will be there on your screen; check and click the download button to save a copy for later use.
HPBOSE has also communicated to the students that gadgets like calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, pagers, or other similar devices are strictly prohibited in the examination centers.
