The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has opened the correction portal for the FMGE December 2025 session from 9 December and will remain open till 11 December 2025. Candidates will be able to rectify mistakes in their application forms through this facility. The provision of this service is quite important for foreign medical graduates (FMGs) intending to appear in the test to be held on January 17, 2026.
The FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) is a biannual test conducted by NBEMS for Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have obtained medical degrees from abroad and wish to practice in India. After the registration process was closed on December 4, 2025, NBEMS has decided to open the correction window to allow candidates to rectify their errors before the exam.

Steps to Edit the FMGE 2025 Application Form
NBEMS has simplified the correction process and they can find the steps below to edit the application form:
Step 1- Candidates who have successfully submitted the application form can visit the official FMGE portal - https://nbe.edu.in/
Step 2- On the home page, find the FMGE exam and click on it.
Step 3- Click on the link application link tab and click on it.
Step 4- The page that will be opened will have multiple options. Find the field “Already Registered Candidate login” and click on it.
Step 5- Log in using your User ID and Password and make necessary corrections and re-upload documents if required.
Step 6- After reviewing all the fields, submit and save the updated application form.
FMGE 2025 Correction Window Importance
The FMGE December 2025 correction window opening is very important for the candidates, and they should make sure their applications do not have any mistakes. NBEMS has warned that if the applications are incomplete or incorrect, the candidate will be disqualified and no admit card will be sent. Applicants are instructed to check their information thoroughly, following the instructions for the documents, and finishing their corrections before the deadline.
Candidates who will submit the form successfully after making the corrections will be the only ones able to download theFMGE Admit Card onJanuary 12, 2026. The examination is scheduled to be held at various centres across India on January 17, 2026.
