The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is all set to release the FMGE 2025 July session results on 26th August 2025. The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) was conducted on 26th July 2025. It is a crucial eligibility exam for Indian citizens and NRIs who have completed their medical degrees abroad and seek to practice medicine in India.

The FMGE is conducted twice annually by NBEMS to assess the competency of foreign medical graduates. Passing this exam is mandatory for obtaining registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or respective State Medical Councils (SMC) to legally practice medicine in India.

What to Expect in the FMGE 2025 Result

When the results are released online, candidates will be able to view their roll numbers, check the marks obtained out of 300, and their qualifying status (Pass/Fail). They must secure a minimum of 150 marks (50%) to pass the FMGE and gain eligibility for practicing medicine in India. Qualified candidates can either work provisionally under supervision or start their own medical practice after completing the necessary registration formalities.

How to Check FMGE 2025 Result

Step 1: Go to the official NBEMS website: natboard.edu.in 

Step 2: Click on the FMGE 2025 result link when it is available.

Step 3: Enter your login details: User ID or application number and Password or date of birth

Step 4: View your result showing your roll number, marks, and pass/fail status.

Steps To Follow After FMGE Result Announcement

Step 1:  Candidates will be able to download their scorecard from the official NBEMS website 

Step 2: Candidates should have all documents that are accurate and complete. 

Step 3: Registration with the NMC or SMC requires payment as per the council's instructions.

Step 4:  After submission of documents, candidates will be issued provisional or permanent registration. 

It is important to keep in mind that the exact post-result steps and documentation may vary from the state medical council or any updates from the National Medical Commission.
