CLAT 2026 Admit Card Latest Update: Applications Open, Download Admit Cards in November

The Consortium of National Law Universities announced on July 20, 2025, that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 will be conducted on December 7, 2025. The national-level admission test for UG and PG law programs offered by NLUs will be held on Sunday between 2 PM and 4 PM. As released in the official notification, the portal for the CLAT 2026 applications will be functional from August 1, 2025. With the last date to apply for the CLAT 2026 set for October 31, 2025, students can download the admit cards for the exam 15 days prior to the exam scheduled for December 7, 2025.
Students aspiring to be law graduates from top colleges and universities offering law programs must note that all admissions for the academic year 2026-2027 will be through CLAT 2026. The exact date to download the admit cards for the CLAT 2026 will be announced by the Consortium of National Law Universities soon. Students appearing for the CLAT 2026 exam will find details like exam date, time, and centre in their respective admit cards. CLAT 2026: How to Download Admit Cards
The admit cards for the CLAT 2026 exam will be available 15 days before the main exam date, around November 22, 2025. The official date for the admit cards to be available will be announced soon. To download the admit card, students must visit the official website of the Consortium, consortiumofnlus.ac.in, All the registered candidates will be further required to log in to the official website with their login credentials.
Students must take a hard copy of the admit card to the exam hall with them, as students without a valid hall ticket won’t be allowed to sit for the examination. Along with the exam centre, the students will have to carry the admit card for the CLAT counselling session too. Moreover, the admit cards have to be retained until they have been allotted a seat in the college.
