The admission process at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has begun for the UG courses like BSc, BA, BCom, and others. Admission for these courses will be done on the basis of CUET UG exam scores. Candidates who want to apply can do so online by visiting the official website of BHU. The last date to apply for UG courses in BHU is July 31, 2025, 11:59 PM. After this date, the application process will be closed.
All the candidates who appeared for the CUET UG 2025 exam are eligible to apply for admission to BHU. More than 13 lakh applicants will have a chance to apply for the admission process. The form will be available for 15 days, and candidates from all over the country can apply during this time. For candidates from UR, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories, the fee for the application process is INR 500, and for SC, ST, and PWD, the fee is INR 250.
This year, BHU is offering 415 UG courses for admission with a total number of 1,553 subjects. To make the admission process easy and fully transparent, BHU has introduced a system called CAP (Combined Allotment Program) UG 2025. According to the admission coordinator Bhaskar Bhattacharya, the BA alone has more than 282 subject groups, and other courses include BCom, BSc, BFA, BPA, and Agriculture. These programs are available at the main campus, women’s college, South Campus, and affiliated colleges.
Admission for the postgraduate courses and the first round of seat allotments is finished, more than 5,000 candidates confirmed their seats. Approximately 2,500 PG seats are still available for the admission, and the second round of seat allotment will start on July 18.
