Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has announced two new courses for the upcoming academic year 2025-26: A Master’s in Political Science and a Doctor of Literature (D.Litt).

Vice-Chancellor Anu Singh Lather announced this news and introduced the admission brochure for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at a press conference on 8 May.

This year, the university is offering 1,123 seats for undergraduate students and 1,491 seats for postgraduate students.

Programme Objectives

Ambedkar University Delhi's new MA in Political Science is designed to build on the strong foundation of its undergraduate programme. The course aims to meet the growing interest in political studies and provide students with deeper knowledge in the field.

The D.Litt programme is focused on advanced research and is meant for scholars who have significant academic experience. It encourages original and meaningful contributions to knowledge, helping researchers take their work to the highest level.

Admission and Campus Details

For the 2025-26 academic session, Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) is offering 2,704 seats across undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programmes. This includes 1,123 seats for undergraduate students and 1,491 seats for postgraduate students. In addition to expanding its academic offerings, AUD is also developing new permanent campuses in Dhirpur and Rohini, with a major investment planned for infrastructure improvements. The university follows a reservation policy, allocating 85% of its seats to students who have completed their schooling in Delhi.
