NIT Meghalaya provides UG, PG, and PhD courses in the fields of Engineering, Science, and Humanities. The fee of the NIT Meghalaya is different according to the program (full-time or part-time) and its specialisations. NIT Meghalaya has various components in its fee structure, such as tuition fees, registration fees, admission fees, hostel fees, and other fees of the institution.
There are also refundable items in the fee structure, like security and library deposit. Most of the programs provide a fee concession to students of the SC/ST/PH category. The fee structure of M.Tech part-time and PhD (sponsored) programs is different. Also, students are allowed to avail of different scholarships xand financial aid programs provided by the institute and the Government of India.
Note: Hostel and mess charges are extra and vary based on occupancy and facilities.
Admission to PG programs like M.Tech is based on GATE, while M.Sc admissions are done through JAM and CCMN counselling. Fee waivers may apply to students availing of scholarships or fellowships.
For general category students, it is INR 83,696; for SC/ST/PH students, it is INR 21,196.
