Indian Institute of Technology Indore fees for the different courses may vary according to the courses chosen by the students. However, the tuition fees for B.Tech students are INR 1,00,000 per semester, with reduced fees for SC/ ST/ PwD categories. For the academic year 2025-26, the IIT Indore Fees for both B.Tech and B.Des are INR 1,00,000 (Tuition Fees) for both autumn and spring semesters for the students whose family income is more than 5 lakh per year. IIT Indore Fees Support for Other Students Based on Family Income: 

• If your family's annual income is less than INR 1 lakh, you get a full tuition fee waiver (INR 1 lakh per semester).

• If your family's annual income is between INR 1 lakh and INR 5 lakhs, you get a two-thirds fee waiver (you pay INR 66,667 per semester).

Indian Institute of Technology Indore provides full-time postgraduate programs in Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Science (MS (Research)) across various engineering and interdisciplinary fields. For the academic year 2025–26, the Indian Institute of Technology Indore Fees for both the Master of Science (M.Sc.) and the Master of Arts (MA (English)) programs are INR 5,000, which is the maximum. Note: For PhD and M.Tech Students, if an existing day scholar or a hosteller not using the dining facility wishes to switch to hostel accommodation and/or opt for the dining facility, they must pay the applicable security deposits of INR 2,000 for the hostel and INR 1,000 for the mess, if not already paid earlier.

The Continuing Education Program (CEP) at the Indian Institute of Technology Indore hosts a variety of online short-term courses aimed at enhancing professional skills and academic knowledge. The Computational Fluid Dynamics course covers: Basics of finite volume methods in CFD practical applications, and numerical techniques. 

The course is conducted twice a month (Slot A: 14th–15th of each month) and (Slot B: 29th–30th of each month). The duration of the course is 6 hours per slot (3 hours/day); thus, participants may choose either slot A or slot B. 

The IIT Indore Fees for the course are INR 2,500 for students, INR 4,000 for faculty, and INR 10,000 for R&D organisations and industry professionals. Upon successful completion of the programme, students receive an e-Certificate. 

These courses are delivered online, allowing flexible participation and direct interaction with IIT Indore faculty. The CEP also offers custom-designed programs for organisations seeking targeted training in areas like Signal Processing, Machine Learning, Mechanical Fault Detection, and more.

MCM/ Fee Remission Scholarship 

The Merit-Cum-Means (MCM) and Fee Remission Scholarship at IIT Indore provides financial support to undergraduate students from economically weaker backgrounds, helping them manage tuition and living expenses. Tuition Fee Waiver & Remission for UG Students (2025–26)

Students applying for undergraduate programs in 2025–26 can get full or partial tuition fee waivers based on their family income and category, as per the Ministry of Education guidelines.

Who Can Get Fee Remission?

For GEN, OBC-NCL, and EWS Categories:

• Family income less than INR 1,00,000 per year: Full tuition fee waiver.

• Family income between INR 1,00,000 and INR 5,00,000 per year: 2/3rd tuition fee waiver.

For SC, ST, and PwD Categories: 

• Full tuition fee waiver: no tuition fee needs to be paid. 

Education Loan Support

All students, regardless of category or income, can apply for education loans with interest support under the PM Vidya Lakshmi Scheme to cover full tuition fees.

To get these benefits, students must submit an income certificate (issued on or after April 1, 2025), a caste or PwD certificate (if applicable). Submit these documents during admission or as per the Academic Office’s schedule.

Remission of Tuition Fee for the AY 2025-26

Students from GEN, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories in B.Tech batches 2022, 2023, and 2024 can apply online for tuition fee remission.

What You Need to Submit

• Fill out the application form in the given format.

• Attach a valid Family Income Certificate issued after April 1, 2025.

• Certificate must be from one of these authorities: Tehsildar, SDO, BDO, MRO, Anchal Officer, Chairman, or Executive Officer of Municipal Corporation. 

Who Can Get Fee Remission?

Foundation For Excellence Scholarship

FFE aims to change the lives of smart students from low-income families in India by helping them finish their higher education.

Academic Requirements

• Only for students in the 1st year of BE, B.Tech, or Integrated M.Tech.

• Must have scored 70% or more in Class 12 or II PUC.

• Obtained at least 152 marks in JEE Advanced.

Financial Requirement

• Total family income should be INR 1.80 lakh or less per year.

Note: Students who already receive any other scholarship (government or private) cannot apply for the FFE scholarship.

Central Sector Scholarship (CSS)

To support SC/ST students pursuing higher education by covering tuition and other academic expenses.

Samsung Star Scholarship

To support talented students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) who have secured admission to IITs or NITs. To cover tuition, hostel, and other academic expenses, financial support up to INR 2 lakh per year is provided.
