The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is most probably going to announce the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025 very soon, maybe in the first week of December 2025. The SSC CGL Tier 1 test took place between September 12 and 26, and the re-exam was held on October 14, 2025, in various shifts at multiple centres through online mode. The computerised test comprised four parts:
General Intelligence & Reasoning
Quantitative Aptitude
General Awareness
English Comprehension
After the test, SSC released the temporary answer key and allowed the candidates to raise an objection by providing them a time window in which they could challenge the answers they considered to be wrong.
The candidates are waiting impatiently to know their results, as the SSC is still reviewing the raised objections against the provisional answer key. The Tier 1 result will be made available on the official website in PDF format, comprising the roll numbers of the candidates who have been selected for Tier 2.
Along with the result, SSC will also post the cut-off marks for different posts and categories. The final answer key and individual scorecards will be there later. More than 13.5 lakh out of 28 lakh registered candidates have appeared for the exam. The qualified ones will be allowed to appear in the SSC CGL tier 2 exam. The dates and other details for Tier 2 will be communicated after the release of the SSC CGL Tier 1 result.
