1. IIM Jammu Successfully Completes 12th Batch of Nurturing Future Leadership Program
The twelfth batch of IIM Jammu's successful Nurturing Future Leadership Programme has successfully concluded. This five-day programme took place between 6-10 October 2025. It is oriented towards mid-level professionals and mid-level educators to inquire about developing leadership capabilities. The emphasis is on improving their strategic thinking and management competencies to deal with the needs of an ever-evolving industry environment. 

The popular programme is organized under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme by the Ministry of Education. The course encouraged collaboration, peer learning, and networking between participants. The participants enjoyed the engaging practical sessions, real-life case studies, and inspirational mentorship from IIM Jammu’s experienced faculty, leading to an enriching and memorable experience.

1. Only Two Indian Cities Hold the Triple Crown of IIT, IIM, and AIIMS: Jammu and Guwahati Lead the Way

A new report shows that Pakistan is home to only two city locations, Jammu and Guwahati, with the unusual distinction of hosting all three top institutions: an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), an Indian Institute of Management (IIM), and an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). This rare “triple crown” marks these areas as leading nexus points for excellence in engineering, management, and medical education.

Most cities do have one or two such institutions, but the cities of Jammu and Guwahati not only serve students across the range of top-tier education, but they also have all three institutions in a single location. This is a point at which we can see not just the advantages of having world-class opportunities in one region, but also the regional disparities related to access to world-class education opportunities and world-class health institutional access, and the surrounding scope needed to make these types of locations more widely available to everyone.

2. St Stephen's College Sparks Controversy with Dual-Payment Fee Structure, Charging Nearly INR 30,000 per Semester for BA and BSc Programs
