The State Bank of India has released SBI PO Prelims Exam 2025 dates, and the Probationary Officer preliminary examination will take place on 2nd, 4th, and 5th, 2025. Candidates can check the official website for more information on the official website of SBI. Moreover, the SBI PO Prelims 2025 admit card is expected to be released shortly.

The preliminary examination will be a one-hour computer-based objective test carrying a total of 100 marks, and the question paper will be divided into three sections that are time-based sections. English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability are the three sections of the exam, and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. 

Additionally, the SBI PO 2025 exam aims to fill 541 vacancies, which include 500 regular positions and 41 backlog posts. The online registration process for the PO Prelims exam started from 24th June and went on to 14th July 2025.

Final Stage Selection

The marks obtained by the candidates in Phase 1 of the Preliminary examination are not added while preparing the final merit list for selection. However, the marks obtained by the candidates in Phases II and III will be aggregated to 100 marks, and this will help create the final merit list.
