In a last-minute move to ensure no student misses out on board exams, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has extended the deadline for submission of exam forms and fees for the Class 10 and Class 12 regular examinations scheduled for March 2026.
First, PSEB decided that the last date for the schools to send the exam forms of their students along with the fees would be November 30, 2025. But after the first extension, many schools were still not able to complete the process, which made the board officials worry about whether the students would be allowed to take the board exams.
Reacting to the situation, senior board officials, citing the need to protect students’ academic interests, have now granted a final extension. Schools can now submit the required forms and fees until December 10, 2025, through their official login portals.
PSEB has clearly said this is the final chance, and any school that misses the extended deadline will be fully responsible for the results. The board’s notice carries a stern warning that failing to submit on time could affect students’ chances of appearing in the March 2026 exams. The decision comes after repeated administrative lapses by various schools, which, despite earlier warnings and extensions, did not complete the formalities. Observers say the board’s move is crucial to safeguard students from being penalised for institutional negligence.
As the deadline begins, all affiliated schools are advised to log in and complete submissions before the final deadline. The board's determination goes to the root of its resolve to keep the academic life uninterrupted and make sure that the students do not bear the consequences of the administration's procrastination.
