The registration for NMAT 2025 has been officially opened by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) starting from 1 August 2025. Meanwhile, the last date to apply for the exam is 10th October 2025, according to the latest updates. Candidates will be able to apply for the examination in this given period only. If any candidate extends the date or fails to apply before the date, he/she will not be allowed to apply later.
The NMAT by GMAC exam is a popular entrance test for MBA and PGDM programs at top B-schools like NMIMS Mumbai, KJ Somaiya, XIMB, TAPMI, and several international institutes across South Africa, the Philippines, and Nigeria.
The registration process for NMAT will be conducted online only through the official website. During the registration, candidates will be able to schedule their exam, choose test centers, and even retake the exam up to three times during the 45-day test window from November to December 2025, tentatively scheduled.

How to Register for NMAT 2025
Students can follow these simple steps to complete the NMAT registration:
Step 1: Visit the official NMAT portal, mba.com/exams/nmat. You will find everything on the website itself.
Step 2: Click on “Register for NMAT by GMAC”
Step 3: Create an account using a valid email ID and mobile number
Step 4: Verify your email and log in to the NMAT dashboard
Step 5: Fill in personal, academic, and contact details
Step 6: Choose up to five B-schools to send your scores (extra fee for more)
Step 7: Upload a recent passport-size photo and valid ID proof
Step 8: Select exam mode - Test Center or Online Proctored at Home
Step 9: Pay the registration fee of INR 3,000 + taxes
Step 10: Schedule your exam date and time slot.
Step 11: Once registered, candidates can download their admit card from the dashboard and prepare for the exam accordingly.
NMAT 2025 Exam Pattern
The NMAT Exam Pattern 2025 will consist of 3 sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning. Each section will consist of 36 questions, totaling 108 questions that must be answered within 120 minutes.
