The NEET UG Round 3 counselling schedule has been uploaded again by MCC. Originally scheduled to close earlier, the choice filling process for Round 3 will now remain open until 4 PM on October 16, 2025. Medical candidates can make changes in the additional window of review, where they can select colleges and courses. Candidates are encouraged to carefully weigh their options to enhance their chances of securing admission to preferred institutions.
According to this schedule, the deadline for the choice filling round has been extended. This extended time period will allow candidates more time to finalize their preferences. After adding new seats in several medical colleges in India across various cities, the opportunities for aspiring medical students increased.
Verification of Joined Candidates Data
After the choice-filling process, MCC will conduct a verification process for the students who have joined, from October 28 to October 29, 2025. During this period, all documents of the students will be reviewed by the MCC, for only those who have reported to their allotted institutions following the Round 3 seat allotment. This will provide transparency and accuracy in the selection process.
NEET UG State Counselling 2025
Various states will take part in the NEET UG 2025 Counselling process, which will start from October 10 to October 27, 2025. Selected candidates can take part in the seat allotment process conducted by their respective state authorities for state quota medical seats. This process will give access to students to select from available seats in Private and Government Medical Colleges within their state. In this, various factors such as domicile, reservation policies, and cutoff ranks will be considered by the state authorities.
Verification of Joined Candidates Data
The medical authorities will initiate the process of verifying candidates’ documentation on November 4, 2025. This will consist of the state thoroughly verifying candidates’ admissions and other documentation to make sure that everything is accurately listed and legitimate. This is a critical process for ensuring the transparency of the students, and will also assist in creating a confirmed list of students.
