NBEMS has released this year’s cutoff for the NEET PG exam along with the results on 19 August 2025. The cutoff is declared separately for every category and it changes slightly every year based on different factors like the number of candidates, difficulty of the exam. The cutoff is the minimum marks required by the students to qualify for the next round of the admission process.
The NEET PG 2025 results were declared on August 19 after the exam was held on August 3 across India. Over 2.42 lakh students registered for the exam out of which about 2.3 lakh appeared for it. According to the results declared, around 1.2 lakh have qualified for the counselling round. The scorecards will be available to download from 29 August 2025. The cutoff marks are different for each category and were declared along with the ranks of the candidates. These scores are based on the 50th, 45th, and 40th percentiles depending on the category of the students.

Steps To View The NEET PG 2025 Cutoff Score
Step 1- Applicants waiting for the cutoff score should visit the official site of the NBEMS.
Step 2- On the website look out for the link for NEET PG 2025 result and click on it.
Step 3- After clicking on it, the result PDF will open, which will consist of cutoff scores.
Step 4- To view the category-wise cutoff, scroll down the PDF.
What happens after the release of the NEET PG cutoff score?
The Medical Council Committee will soon release the counselling dates of NEET PG 2025 on its official website https://mcc.nic.in/ after the release of the cutoff. Students who have qualified will be called to take part in counselling. The Medical Counselling Committee will release the schedule soon on its official website. It should be kept in mind that the state authorities will handle counselling for state quota seats. This cutoff declaration will help students get admission into MD, MS, DNB, and PG Diploma courses for the 2025–26 session.
