MMMUT 2025 B.Tech Cutoff List Released: CSE Tops Preference Charts

Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur, has officially published the first cutoff list for B.Tech admissions for the academic year 2025-26. The list, based on JEE Main 2025 ranks, reflects competition, particularly in the Computer Science and Information Technology branches.

According to university sources, over 4,039 candidates participated in the counseling process this year. Out of these, about 285 students secured their first preference in the initial round of seat allotment. While 659 students got admission at the top three universities.

Seat Distribution and Student Preferences for MMMUT B.Tech Admission 2025

As part of the ongoing admission process at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur, the university has released key figures related to seat distribution by branch and student allotments based on preference order. 

Seat Distribution by Branch

The total intake capacity across major B.Tech branches is 795 seats. Computer Science Engineering (CSE) leads with the highest number of available seats, followed by Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).

Seat Allotment Based on Student Preferences

Out of the total seats allotted in Round 1, a large number of students received their top three choices, and about 285 candidates received the first choice. Here's the detailed preference-wise breakdown:
