The National Testing Agency announced last night that the results for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will now be declared on February 16. Earlier, Students were waiting for the official announcement of the result date. Now, with this update, the students know when their scores will be announced.

When the results are announced, students who appeared for the exam can check their JEE Main 2026 scores and cut-off marks online. JEE Main 2026: Final Answer Key Update

The objection window for the provisional answer key for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 has been closed on February 6. After checking all the objections sent by students, the NTA releases the final answer key.

The JEE Main 2026 scores will be used for admission to undergraduate courses such as BE/BTech, BArch, and BPlanning in government and private colleges across the whole India.

JEE Main 2026: January Session Exam Overview

The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam was held in computer based mode from January 21 to January 29. Each day, the test took place in two shifts, firstly in the morning shift from 9 am to 12 noon and then the afternoon shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The BE and BTech papers were conducted between January 21 and January 28. Students and expert professionals said the exam was moderately difficult overall, though the difficulty level varied depending on the shift and subject.

In 2025, the January session exam was conducted from January 22 to January 30, and the results were announced on February 11. That year, NTA removed 12 questions from the final answer key.
