The 2025 summer internship report has been released by the Indian School of Business Hyderabad (ISB) for the 2024-26 batch of the Post Graduate Programme in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL). The 20-month residential program is designed for individuals who are entering their first job. With only 11 months of work experience on average, this program focuses on developing leadership and innovation skills, as well as providing experiential learning for early career professionals. This inaugural report also demonstrates strong interest and engagement from recruiters across diverse industries.
The students received more than 175 internships from 38 different companies in multiple sectors. Recruiters are confident about hiring PGP YL students who have high-quality talent. The average stipend offered to interns was INR 3.2 lakhs, while the highest stipend was INR 7.3 lakhs. These amounts indicate a significant number of high quality positions available to these young leaders. ISB 2025 Internship Sector Distribution
Consulting was the largest category of internships for ISB Hyderabad PGP YL graduates (47% of all internships), with Accenture offering 37 positions and McKinsey, Bain, and BCG combined providing 19 positions. Additionally, through EY-Parthenon, PwC, and Deloitte USI, there were also opportunities available to take strategy, analytics and transformation roles. Finance comprised 19% of internships, with prominent companies, including Jefferies, Mastercard and Barclays, among others, represented.
FMCG companies accounted for 11% of internships including HUL, ITC, Colgate, Dabur and Castrol. while technology companies, including Amazon, Media.net, Practo and Ola offered 10% of internships in Product Management. The conglomerates, including Aditya Birla and Adani, had 7% of internships, other companies, such as Hero MotoCorp and Oyo, offered internships in Operations/Technology, accounting for 6%.
