The Indian School of Business’s Executive Education, along with Emeritus, have introduced a new program– Venture Capital and Private Equity. This 22-week immersive learning program will help participants with the knowledge, frameworks, and skills to navigate the complex world of private equity and venture capital with confidence.
Candidates will get deep insights into deal sourcing, valuation, due diligence, structuring, portfolio management, exits, and governance, supported by case studies from both global and Indian contexts. Participants will also complete a final project based on the Indian venture capital and private equity scene, allowing them to use what they’ve learned to solve real-world problems.

Eligibility Criteria
The ISB program is for mid- to senior-level professionals with 5 plus years of experience, including investment bankers, consultants, finance managers, portfolio managers, startup founders, entrepreneurs, and those aspiring to start a job in the field of venture capital and private equity.
Curriculum Details
The expanded curriculum covers critical areas such as corporate restructuring, valuation, deal structuring, negotiation and defence strategies, and post-merger integration, enriched with practitioner insights and interactive learning. A student must secure a 70 per cent to get a final certificate from ISB for the course. A minimum score of 70% is required to receive the final certificate from ISB.
Student Support and Learning Resources
As mentioned in the information brochure, weekly doubt-clearing sessions will be carried out by the faculty, as they monitor individual student progress. Candidates who participate will have access to the online learning platform and all the videos and program materials for 12 months following the program start date. As stated in the brochure, the learning platform is unavailable for unregistered candidates until the program starts. After the program begins, participants can access the online learning platform, including all videos and course materials for 12 months.
Participants will benefit from the program features, including action learning projects, case studies, and master classes delivered by industry leaders. There is also a capstone project, a subscription to VCCircle for contemporary market analysis, and you attain the status of an ISB Executive alumni.
