IIT Bombay Applications Open: Second Series of Advanced Programs in Cybersecurity & Software Released

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has released the second edition of the advanced programs in Cybersecurity and Software, and is ready to accept applications for the same. The deadline for the application form submission is open till 31st December 2025.

The Certification Programs are being offered by the Trust Lab of IIT Bombay, which comes under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. As​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ per the statement by the institute officials, every fully online program is of one year duration and consists of three structured courses that are taught by the institute’s faculty members. Weekly lab sessions will target actual professional environments, thus allowing students to acquire not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that are required in the ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌workplace.

IIT Bombay Professional Certification Programs 

The second series of courses involves Network Security Programs, which is covered under the cybersecurity learning, and Full-Stack MERN Development with Apache and Nginx Configuration. These industry-focused programmes possess academic excellence with practical application and empower professionals to stay ahead in today's rapidly evolving tech landscapes.

Network Security 

The program is almost 14 weeks long and will provide the IIT Bombay flagship professional certification. The learning duration of every week revolves around 6-8 hours, in which the candidate will be able to gain theoretical knowledge as well as practical exposure. 

Full-Stack MERN Development with Apache and Nginx Configuration

The​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Full-Stack MERN Development with Apache and Nginx Configuration course is a detailed online program that is perfect for those who want to become web developers or professionals in the IT field. The course will last for 14 weeks, and it will be available from January 4, 2026. You can register until December 31, ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌2025.
