The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) today released the results for its June session exams for Professional programmes at 11 AM. Based on the issued results, two students successfully held the top positions in the exam. One is Prashil Singh, who got AIR 1 in the old syllabus of 2017 with five other candidates. In the new syllabus of 2022, Bhumi Vinod Gupta got AIR 1 with 33 candidates in the topper list.

Difference Between Old Syllabus and New Syllabus CS Professional Programmes

The old ICSI syllabus was primarily based on the 2017 curriculum for CS Executive and Professional programs. It is being phased out, with final attempts for some students in December 2024 and June 2025. The new ICSI syllabus refers to the updated curriculum, first presented in 2022, that became mandatory after the old syllabus attempts concluded. The new syllabus includes changes such as a focus on practical application, including ESG principles and corporate restructuring, elective subjects, and a different paper structure with fewer papers overall.
