Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, has initiated a special offline counselling round from today, 27 August 2025. The purpose of this round is to fill the vacant seats in some of the undergraduate programs. The students who were unable to secure admission in previous counselling rounds are eligible to apply in this special round.

This was notified to the students through an official announcement, which was published on the official website on 25 August 2025. The special round includes the five most sought-after courses mentioned below:

  • B.Ed.

  • B.Ed. (Special Education)

  • BA in Journalism and Mass Communication

  • Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

For this counseling round, only those candidates who were not allocated a seat in any of the earlier rounds are permitted. Those who have already joined under the management quota or paid a part of the fees earlier are not eligible to participate. The university has also indicated that any such previously paid partial fees won't be adjusted in this round. Students who attend counselling need to carry a bank draft of INR 96,000 in the name of "Registrar, GGSIPU" and all other necessary academic and personal documents.

The seat allocation will be merit-based, as the highest preference will be given to candidates with national-level test results, then to candidates who have appeared in GGSIPU entrance exams (NLT or CET), and lastly to candidates with CUET scores. The CUET-based merit list has already been announced on the official admission portal. Students can log on to the university's official websites for complete details, including the counseling schedule, reporting time, and venue details, by clicking on any of the links given below:

All applicants are strongly recommended to read the official instructions thoroughly before going for the counselling session.
