One big change is that now, if two students have the same CUET and Class 12 marks, their Class 10 board exam marks will be used to decide who gets the spot. This means Class 10 results will help break the tie.

Delhi University Admissions Open for 2025-26

Delhi University has started the admission process for the new academic year. Undergraduate students can now register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.

  • Class 10 Marks as a Tie-Breaker If two students get the same marks in CUET and Class 12 exams, their Class 10 board marks will now be used to break the tie.

  • Auto-Accept Feature A new auto-accept option has been added, so students don’t miss out on seats that are given to them.

  • Seats and Courses DU is offering 79 undergraduate programs in 69 colleges, with a total of 71,624 seats. Classes will begin from August 1.
