The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) has officially released the revised results for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025. Candidates who appeared for the prestigious law entrance exam can now access and download their updated results from the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in . CNLU has now also started the counselling registration process for undergraduate law programs.
Why Were CLAT 2025 Results Revised?
The CLAT 2025 UG exam was conducted on 1 December, 2024, with the initial results declared on 7 December, 2024. Students raised concerns towards the results later in front of Delhi High Court. After discovering errors in several questions, prompted by a legal petition the Delhi High Court instructed the Consortium to reassess the CLAT 2025 results.The court ordered corrections, including awarding marks for disputed answers. The Supreme Court also issued additional modifications to the evaluation process to ensure fairness and transparency. As a result, the CNLU has now published a revised merit list, aiming to uphold the integrity of the law school admissions process.
How to Download the Revised CLAT 2025 Scorecard
Candidates can easily access their revised results by following these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the ‘CLAT 2025 Result’ or ‘Download Scorecard’ link on the homepage.
Step 3: Log in using your credentials like registered mobile number and password.
Step 4: Click on scorecards link on dashboard.
Step 5: The results will appear on the screen, download it.
Impact of Revised Results on CLAT 2025 Counselling
The counselling registration for UG programs has started from 17 May, 2025 and will conclude on 21 May, 2025. Eligible candidates listed in the updated merit list can now access their official accounts to finalize their counselling registration.
Candidates must choose at least 15 preferences while selecting their courses and colleges. The counselling process will be conducted in five rounds, and the counselling fee is set at INR 30,000 for general category candidates and INR 20,000 for ST/SC/OBC/BC/EWS/PwD candidates
CLAT 2025 PG Results Yet to Be Declared
As per the official notification, the revised results have been issued only for the undergraduate program at this stage. The postgraduate (PG) exam results will be released later, following the resolution of pending matters before the Delhi High Court.
